Sandpoint Children's Learning Center was founded when two coworkers decided to turn their shared passion for childhood education into a business. After a couple of quick meetings, we were on our way to creating something extraordinary.
SCLC is still co-directed by those two coworkers/friends with a combined 54 years of experience in the field of child development and family relations. We love children and learning!

Who We Are
CAROL MILLARD
Co-Director/ Preschool Teacher
Carol obtained an A.S. in Early Childhood Education and worked for both Head Start and a private preschool. Carol is a lead teacher and recognizes the importance of a safe and nurturing, developmentally appropriate, learning environment.

JENNA HADDOCK
Co-Director/ Preschool Teacher
Jenna worked for Head Start after completing her B.A. in Child Development & Family Relations. Jenna is a lead teacher and enjoys supporting children's critical thinking skills, enhancing their self-esteem and formulating an excitement for learning.
DENYA BREEDEN
Infant/Toddler Teacher
Denya has over 24 years specializing in infant and toddler care. Her strengths include honest communication and documenting daily happenings.
NICHOLE BAUMANN
Teacher
Nichole studied Early Childhood Education at the University of Idaho. Her strengths include communicating with families and problem solving with children.
ALISSA HEISER
Infant/Toddler Teacher
Alissa studied Early Childhood Education at the University of Idaho. Her strengths are being energetic, communicating positively and showing patience.
